Poetiic University Issue 14
Poetiic University Magazine is now a bi-monthly publication with a target demographic of CONSCIOUS HUMANS, followers of the Neo Soul, hip-hop and R&B lifestyles. The magazine is a self distributed, independent publication that encourages the exploration of the creative arts by urban youth. Similar publications are Sister Sister, Jet and Essence.
The main objective of this Online/Print Publication, is to offer creatives all over the map a sound platform to express themselves and promote their brand!
Here at Poetiic University, we aim to uplift, motivate and encourage.

Few more questions for the queen.
Poe: what is the most important boundary to have, as a business owner?
Eboni: As a business owner, I don't know what the most important one to have is but what I can say is that being unapologetically stern on my worth is an imperative boundary to maintain.
Poe: What’s the best advice you've received, and why did it resonate so much?
Eboni: I’ve received a lot of great advice along my way. But my grandmother told me “All You have in life is your word.” That stuck with me… That holds value. If I don't have anything else I have my integrity to stand on. Be a good person and do the right things. When you are standing on your word that enables people to trust you. It shows your dependability.
Poe: 3. If you had the chance to have a conversation with the 15 year old you, what would the conversation be about and what bit of advice would you give the younger you?
Eboni: If I were able to go back and have a conversation with my 15 year old self I would first say that "Baby you are going to get there! It’s okay." I would tell myself to slow down and take your time getting there. It’s the journey, I would tell myself to love myself more and that I am worthy. When I was 15 I didn’t feel wanted and I didn’t love myself accordingly. I would tell a 15 year old me to go for it… leap… fly.. I would hug the shit out of my 15 year old self.
